Who we are

Path to Practice aspires to help a new generation of Physiotherapists take the big leap from theory to practice.

We strive to provide practical, applicable guidance to ensure that clinicians can feel confident in diagnosing, treating and managing their patients.

Private practice can be scary to dive into, so we want to make it less daunting for you.

Meet the Team

  • Founder

With a deep passion for teaching, Christina founded Path to Practice to give students and new graduates an affordable way to learn the practical skills that often get missed at university, making the jump into private practice a little less daunting.

Christina is a Sports Physiotherapist with an extensive background in sport science and Strength & Conditioning, being involved in everything from footy and netball to soccer, weightlifting, and CrossFit.

Christina also represents WA in the sport of weightlifting, so she you know she practices what she preaches!

  • Primary Educator

Jimmy is one of our Primary Educators, with a drive to raise the standard of physiotherapy. He focuses on teaching new graduates how to apply real-world clinical reasoning and practical strategies so they can deliver quality care out on the field and in the clinic.

Jimmy founded his own concussion rehabilitation clinic, and has vast experience in private practice and working with both amateur and professional rugby.

  • Primary Educator

Josh is another of our Primary Educators, with a natural talent for teaching. Josh excels at breaking down tough concepts and pathologies into simple, digestible terms.

Josh currently holds the vestibular lead at a hospital, specialising in vestibular, TMJ dysfunctions, and complex musculoskeletal conditions. He also lectures for the APA as part of the medical teaching team.

  • Organiser & Convener

Tayla’s experience supervising physio students in the hospital has helped her understand the challenges of transitioning from uni into the workforce, and she is passionate about bridging the gap to help students grow into confident clinicians.

Tayla is a hospital physiotherapist with a broad set of skills and special interest in treating patients with neurological conditions.

  • Operations & Marketing

Jono runs the back end of Path to Practice, everything administrative and social media.

He owns and runs Reforge Physiotherapy with Christina, working with a wide range of athletes to get them back stronger than ever.
