Workshop Terms and Conditions
1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions outline the expectations, responsibilities and rights of participants attending our workshops delivered by Path to Practice. By registering for and attending a workshop, you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility
Workshops are open to:
Current physiotherapy students, and
Qualified or early-career physiotherapists.
Participants must be aged 18 years or over.
3. Registration and Payment
Workshop registration is confirmed upon receipt of full payment or as otherwise specified.
Payments are non-transferable unless approved by the Program team.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel a registration if the participant does not meet eligibility criteria or fails to comply with these Terms.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations made 14 or more days prior to the workshop date are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future session (subject to availability).
If Path to Practice must cancel or reschedule a workshop, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future date.
Refunds will be processed within 10 business days.
5. Participant conduct
All participants are expected to:
Behave professionally and respectfully toward facilitators and peers.
Follow facilitator instructions at all times, particularly during hands-on practice.
Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and ensure consent before any physical contact with other participants.
Refrain from disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour.
Failure to comply may result in removal from the workshop without refund.
6. Health and Safety
Workshops include practical components such as manual therapy and manual handling.
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically and physically fit to participate.
Any existing injuries, conditions, or limitations should be disclosed to facilitators prior to participation.
Participants may opt out of any activity if they feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
Path to Practice is not responsible for any injury sustained through participation, except where required by law.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Workshop content is provided for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, assessment, or treatment.
While facilitators provide guidance and demonstrations, participants must exercise their own judgement and act within their competency and scope of practice.
To the extent permitted by law, Path to Practice and its facilitators are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from participation in workshops, including but not limited to:
Physical injury
Property damage
Emotional or psychological distress
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded.
8. Media and Promotion
During workshops, photographs or videos may be taken for promotional purposes.
Participants will only be excluded if they have explicitly stated it to any of the team members present, and if they have emailed through a statement stating so..
9. Intellectual Property
All workshop materials, content, and resources are owned by Path to Practice.
Participants may use provided materials for personal educational purposes only and must not reproduce, share, or distribute them without written permission.
10. Privacy
Path to Practice respects your privacy.
Personal information collected for workshop registration and participation will be handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Information will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law.

11. Amendments
Path to Practice reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
The most current version will always be available at the time of registration.
